Bravo Mister Green

I don't really care much for award shows, I really don't but tonight was different. You see, I'm currently watching the Junos, it's our answer to the Grammy's, the Brits and so on. We reward our Canadian talent with a trophy named after a beach in France, where Canadians sacrificed their lives to fight the Germans in 1942...Juno... and now I'm watching Nickelback accept their second Juno of the night... it's gonna be a long night.

Goodtimes! Actually I still don't know why I'm watching, could be because I don't have cable and so I only have like six channels to choose from. Anyways, I tuned in because Mr. Dallas Green was up for best songwriter award and his category made my life easy seeing that it was the first award given during the night, well City and Colour won which made me super happy because like I mentioned in my previous post, spring is here and he's all that I've been listening to on my iPhone these last few days. Seriously try it, if tomorrow it's sunny outside put on some City and Colour and walk around, it will be the soundtrack to your day I promise you if you haven't heard of City and Colour then do yourself a favor and look him up, he's a diamond in the rough among great Canadian songwriting, I mean c'mon he got a Juno for it!

Here is a video from the man himself, enjoy and yes, there is still more to come.

Prrrrrr.

Getting slightly better at Blogger.
